To understand the wines Clos Saouma is to understand their winemaking philosophy of their Burgundian wines. They employ the same techniques they use in Burgundy, yet in the Rhone they manage every stage of the process, starting with the vineyards they own, all aspects of winemaking through to bottling.

Omnia, meaning ‘ALL’ is a blend albeit 80% Grenache with the rest made up with the other 12 varieties. It’s a blend of five villages from 7 different vineyards. A great sense of tension, though light extraction. Spicy, with fine tannins. Fruit coming from eight different terroirs and all five Châteauneuf communes.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a French wine appellation in the Southern Rhone, known for its luscious, complex, elegant and mineral red and white blends. The whites are usually made with Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, and Clairette, while the reds use Grenache for it's foundation with additions of Mourvèdre, Syrah, Cinsault and more, but some of these wines can blend up to 20 varieties! Because of this, the results are often spectacularly complex and nuanced with a whole range of aromas and flavours and structure to last decades. These are some of the greatest wines on Earth!
