Typically aged for over five years in new French oak, with deep brooding fruit and powerful palate weight Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz is blended from a rigorous barrel selection to age gracefully for decades. This wine is still very young. If you are tempted to open a bottle now, I strongly suggest 6 to 12 hours in a decanter prior to enjoying.

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
