Merlot

A red grape variety made famous in the wines of St Emillion from the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Merlot is a luscious and generously flavoured variety with a structured body, supple tannins and a juicy core with notes of potpourri, deep red and blue berries, black cherry, plum jam, chocolate, dried herbals, fruit cake spice, cedar and incense.
