An exceptional red blend (85% Mencía, 8% Alicante Bouschet, 2% Bastardo and 5% white grapes and other varieties) grown on century old vines in Bierzo, Castilla y León, made by the great Raúl Pérez, of Envinate fame! 2023 represents a particularly carefully tended and limited harvest, a single plot selection, produced in very low quantities, which gives it the character of a cult wine. With multiple scores over 97, it's no surprise that this might be one of the greatest value reds in all of Spain!

A Volnay-esque nose with deep florals, red fruits and gently sweet earth, and a palate that is deep in flavour, yet elegantly poised with freshness and wonderfully sweet fruit. Gorgeous tannins and wonderful tightness of structure. This is excellent!
