An extraordinary wine of 100 yr old vines of Listan Negro from the Valle de la Orotava. The old vines are trained in the Trezendo fashion: braiding new shoots over older ones until the vines begin to resemble old dreadlocks weaving over the landscape. The grapes are partially destemmed (between 10-20% whole bunch) and aged in 600L old oak barrels for 11 months. 2021 is a vintage to cellar.

A profound expression of Tenerife's volcanic terroir, revealing dark berries, black pepper, smoky spice and crushed basalt. Restrained and beautifully structured, it balances savoury complexity with crystalline freshness, ultra-fine tannins and a long, mineral finish that promises outstanding evolution in bottle. Incredible!
