Falerne is an ancient term with origins from Napoli in Italy. In history, there was the quaffer wine, the brilliant wine and then there was Falernian wine. Records in history represent the incredible quality of the vines and grapes, and the resulting wine being able to stand the test of time – up to 100yrs! Falernian wine became synonymous with opulence and grandeur; complex and bold. It is for this reason this moniker was chosen. John sought a name that represented the best quality of handpicked grapes from meticulously chosen vines, and though we are not ageing these wines in clay pots as did the Romans – we are confident to state that these wines will last the test of time.Region – Central Ranges & HilltopsClimate – Cool climateAlcohol – 14.5%Cellaring – Enjoy now or will reward by cellaring beyond 2030
