A white grape variety with a home in the Jura, France, and is responsible for wines of great purity, complexity and uniqueness. When made as a dry white, the wines are floral and aromatic with citrus, apples, chewy stonefruit, salinity with a hint of tropicals, but it can also become wildly complex when made in an oxidative manner and develops delicious nutty, mineral and sherry-like notes unlike anything else in the world.
