100% savagnin topped up from a single vineyard called Les Molattes on the famous Jurassic Grey Marl. Manual harvest and wild fermentation in stainless then into old demi-muids for six months and bottled with a small amount of sulphur. Rich and generous Savagnin with purity, plenty of salinity and focused acidity to drive it long. Stunning.

A white grape variety with a home in the Jura, France, and is responsible for wines of great purity, complexity and uniqueness. Vin Jaune is a heavily oxidative expression of Savagnin and is becoming a highly sought after and age worthy style for collectors. It might be illegal to have this wine without a generous slab of Comté cheese...
