A unique blend of 51% Bouchet, 49% Merlot that has taken Bordeaux lovers by storm! Founded by Henri Greloud in 1872, Château Lafleur derives each year from the same small parcel simply called “Lafleur” on the plateau of Pomerol. Château Lafleur is a rare and mythical wine, presenting power and finesse. The grapes are harvested manually with double sorting at the vineyard, then double sorting at the cellar. One of the most characterful as well as most consistent wines produced in contemporary Bordeaux.

Bordeaux Blends are made up of a combination of traditional grapes found in the region of Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are the dominant varieties used in these blends, but you'll also find Petit Verdot, Malbec, Carménère and other supporting grapes. The firm, structured and tannic Left Bank Bordeaux reds are typically Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, whereas the more juicy, lush and approachable Right Bank Bordeaux reds have Merlot as their primary grape. These wines are some of the world's greatest expressions and have been made to last decades!
