The 2021 Pernand-Vergelesses Premier Cru is made from the renowned 5.4-hectare vineyard "Les Vergelesses", whose name reflects the village of Pernand. Located south of the hill of Corton, this terroir has its uniqueness in its typology of soils. If the soil is heavy and stony at the top of the plot, the bottom of the plot is more clayey, thus giving the wine complexity and power.
