About the wine

Tasting notes

Wild strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, dried herbs, incense, Earth and subtle tea leaf and spice complexity. This combines the ethereal, almost weightless texture of Grand Cru Burgundy with serious underlying structure, effortless intensity of flavour and the finest of tannins. Other worldly!

The Grape

Grenache

Grenache, (or Garnacha), is one of the most important red grape varieties in the world and is responsible for some of the most expensive and collected wines out there. It's the key variety for making elegant Châteauneuf-du-Pape and rich GSM's, but is brilliant as a stand alone variety and makes wines with a medium body, but intense and often spicy flavours of deep red fruits, black cherry, charred plum, leather, blood orange, dried herbals and cinnamon. From crisp and crunchy, to velvety and rich, this versatile grape is awesome!
