his is light-bodied in comparison to Mountain A, and has a deceptive O'Shea feel to it - in other words, in strict terminology it is closer to medium-bodied in the wider world. It has red fruits as well as black, and the tannins, while plentiful, are very fine and supple, meshing perfectly with the fruit. Will drink well throughout its life. - JH

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
