Keller is arguably the leading producer in all of Germany! RR stands for Riesling from red-soiled parcels within Kirchspiel, where the iron-rich earth gives a spicier, more textural profile than the limestone sites used for Von der Fels. In some vintages the fermentation finishes completely dry, while in others a small touch of residual sugar remains, creating a beautifully balanced feinherb expression.
