Tasting notes

A nose of violets and sweet musky florals, orange, dark cherry, brambly black, blue and red berries, savoury plum, dried fig, roasted beetroot, garrigue herbals, cassia bark, szechuan pepper, turned earth, graphite and roasted duck-like meatiness…there’s so much going on!In the mouth it’s a medium bodied, elegantly structured and complex expression of Australian Shiraz that marries the richness of McLaren Vale, the dark earthiness of the Pyrenees and the floral red lift of the Macedon. Textured with confident creamy tannins and deepened by a gravelly kind of minerality that gives it an old world feel.
