The best bang for your buck Premier Cru Burgundy you can find! Crausot is a fairly new 1er Cru, established in the 1990’s. It’s at the southern tip of the appellation and very calcareous soils, extremely mineral styled wines. One parcel faces south on stoney limestone soil, the other east on the sandier limestone soils similar to their Chardonnay plantings. Pronounced ‘Crow-Sooh’. 0.93 Hectares. Average vineyard age of 25 years.

The sleek, intense and beautifully delineated medium-bodied flavors exude a subtle minerality on the youthfully austere, punchy and well-balanced finale.
