The epicentre of fine wine

Burgundy is a large body of wine regions and appellations in France that make the worlds greatest, most elegant and expensive expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The wines from this extended region set the benchmark by which all others are compared to around the world. The most famous regions include the Cote d’Or, broken into the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, Chablis, Côte Chalonnaise and the Mâconnaise. Other top varieties include Aligoté and Gamay.
