An excellent organic and biodynamic Riesling from Alsace, made by Burgundian royalty, Domaine Trapet. The estate grown grapes are dry farmed, hand harvested, fermented in egg-shaped concrete vat aging using indigenous yeasts then aged in large format barrels. The fruit and terroir shines brightly in this release, and all for the better!

About the wine
Tasting notes
Lively aromas of lime and citrus blend with notes of lemon butter, beeswax, toast, and wet stone to create a complex bouquet. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with a generous texture and a refreshing acidity that enhances the flavors of lime and citrus. Subtle hints of beeswax, lemon butter, wet stone, and delicate kerosene and smoky mineral notes follow. The finish is long and concentrated, with outstanding depth and an oily texture that lingers.
