Granny smith apple, ice cream, lemon, lime, wet stone and sea salt spray. Elegant, silky smooth, fresh and delicious. Think chablis with a bit more oomph akin to a Margaret River Chardonnay

A nose that’s tropical with frangipani, apple blossoms, pineapple, banana lollies, starfruit, white peach and lime cordial, along with notes of sweet almond and sea spray. In the mouth it’s rich and intensely flavoured, driving with peach, crisp nectarine and lemon curd charged with bright acidity. Really lovely, seamless and pure.

As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures!
