Green and white gold like qualities; limes, white nectarines and grilled grapefruit, salty sea air with spicy Valencia orange zest oak adding a twist, roast chicken pan juices with a very subtle matchstick element hiding in the background. Tightly coiled, seamless, powerful white stone fruits wrapped in creamy, spicy surrounds with piercing intensity and length of fruit.

Medium gold with a touch of cyan and a captivating nose that marries pristine and fresh white, yellow and orange fruit with gorgeous oak spice. Think jasmine, juicy white peach, lemon curd, orange zest, nougat and Anzac cookies with a sprinkling of chervil, white pepper and the salty ocean breeze. In the mouth it’s even more impressive with intense flavours that echo the nose, meticulously corralled by tight, mineral acidity and deepened with savoury, briny qualities. Not a hair is out of place and it purrs like a vintage Mercedes Benz. Wonderful energy, great sustain and excellent length, this is a masterful expression of Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay that sits very clearly in the top echelon of Australian wine. Outstanding!
