Envinate's Taganan wines come from the small village of Taganana (the wine cannot be labelled as Taganana as it doesn't have its own DO label) in Tenerife. Marmajuelo, Malvasia, Listan Blanco, Gual, Albilla and others varieties are planted on incredibly steep terraces of ancient coastal cliffs in volcanic soils. The field blend is fermented with wild yeasts by parcel, with some parcels getting a bit of skin contact, and then raised on the lees in steel vats and barrels for around 8 months.

Pure and vibrant citrus, white flowers and orchard fruit with smoky mineral tension and an unmistakable saline edge. Long, textural, precise, and crisp with lovely chalkiness and sea-spray to finish. Awesome! The Chablis of Tenerife.
