The 1er Cru Les Forêt, part of the Montmains hill, has long been a name of prestige – thanks in no small part to iconic bottlings from Dauvissat. Vocoret farms three small plots here, totalling 0.91 hectares, planted in 1971 and 1980, giving vines with an average age of around 50 years. With a southeast exposition and classic Kimmeridgian soils, this site produces wines of purity and line!

Fine boned, with citrus, florals and fresh cream, countered by a savoury ocean-like minerality. Palate is wonderfully elegant and echoes the nose with fine, powdery chalk tannins, good phenolic structure and a long finish.

An airy nose with citrus rind, pear, algae and brine… impressively concentrated flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract… excellent power on the clean, dry and sneaky long finale… should amply repay medium-term cellaring. *Sweet Spot* OUTSTANDING
One of the most planted, versatile and popular white varieties in the world. As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures! From the best bubbles of Champagne, to the lean, unoaked and mineral expressions of Chablis and the opulent, oaked and complex whites of Burgundy, Chardonnay is responsible for making some of the greatest expressions of white wine on the planet.
