Creamy light gold with a powerful and complex nose of orange blossom, jasmine and gardenia, grilled and fresh stonefruit, herbal citrus, matcha tea, mandarin, gently oxidised apple, melon, dandelion, nuts, butter heavy patisserie and ocean brine. So much going on!In the mouth it’s rich, intense and silky with pome, ripe stonefruit, sweet melon, rounded orange citrus, macadamia, oats and some lactic savouriness. Creamy tannins bring lovely texture, while mouthwatering acidity drives it long over a seductive and refreshing tail that teases with tension and ends on notes of fennel, crushed stone. What a stunner!!

One of the most planted, versatile and popular white varieties in the world. As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures! From the best bubbles of Champagne, to the lean, unoaked and mineral expressions of Chablis and the opulent, oaked and complex whites of Burgundy, Chardonnay is responsible for making some of the greatest expressions of white wine on the planet.
