Deep crimson. Blackberry, graphite, hint leafy aromas with mocha, vanilla notes. Sweet fruit wine with ample raspberry and blackberry pastille fruits, touch flinty, sous bois notes, fine slinky firm tannins and mocha marzipan notes. Cedar firm finish with aniseed notes seeming ease. Chocolate, bay leaves, coffee grinds, dark berries, cherries and plums. Even a hint of vegemite. Very good length here. An exciting future ahead.
Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
