The fragrance is very typical for Chablis in its clarity and coolness, here with a very subtle wood note. Floral notes and citrus fruits characterize the Vaillons, of course in a very clear and aromatic "cool" way. On the palate it has a good extract, is precise and long in the final. All class!

"Here too there is just enough wood present to bear mentioning on the more floral and spicier aromas of citrus blossom and mineral reduction. The delicious and almost painfully intense flavors are beautifully well-detailed while possessing a lovely texture on the sneaky long, saline and refreshing finish.” Drink 2026+
One of the most planted, versatile and popular white varieties in the world. As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures! From the best bubbles of Champagne, to the lean, unoaked and mineral expressions of Chablis and the opulent, oaked and complex whites of Burgundy, Chardonnay is responsible for making some of the greatest expressions of white wine on the planet.
