The stunning 2019 Paitin ‘Rivoli’ Dolcetto is from 40 year old vines in the Rivoli - a region in the South of Alba (between Barolo & Barbaresco). The soil consists of Marly limestone belonging to the Marne di Sant’Agata fossili sabbiose, giving the wine a mineral and almost saline trait. The wine is raised in very large old Slavonian oak for six months.

Tasting notes
A beautiful, nervy wine that has a good deal of structure. Bright red cherry, blood orange, mint and white pepper lend energy to this vibrant, super-expressive Dolcetto. A great wine that punches well above its weight!
