Awarded the best Sauvignon Blanc made in Australia...three times in a row. Our Sauvignon Blanc was hand-picked at perfect flavour ripeness in mid-March. Severe bunch thinning kept yields low, concentrating flavour. Part of the fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermented in large oak foudres and demi-muids (48%), with the balance of the fruit being crushed and destemmed before fermentation at cold temperatures in stainless steel (52%). The Crayères Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc has not been through malolactic fermentation and the different components were blended late December 2023 before being bottled late-January 2024 following a light filtration.

Clear pale gold with a nose full of white florals, dried ginger, cape gooseberry, salted lime, pear, underripe pineapple, honeydew, white stonefruit, sweet peas, sugar coated almonds, white pepper and crushed gravel. In the mouth it’s fine boned, with good concentration, impeccable balance and a core of pure and floral-edged fruit. Flavours echo the nose, along with spearmint, gentle passionfruit/feijoa and hints of cassis, driven by brilliant acidity and textured with the finest of gravelly tannins. It moves effortlessly through to a long, delicate tail that whispers tropicals and feels like home. Such a pretty release
