Mt. Kayagatake is known for being the final resting place of Hisaya Fukada, who wrote "The Hundred Famous Mountains of Japan". The wine is vinified using Koshu grapes from Kayagatake's foothills at an altitude of 400 to 700m, including the company-managed vineyards.Kayagatake Koshu follows the technical guidance of clean and pure winemaking given by the late Professor Denis Dubourdieu of the University of Bordeaux. This was a turning point for Grace Wine, not relying on sur lie or oak, but drawing out the grapes' true potential. The result is a delicate wine, refreshing with a fresh yet dignified intensity.
