About the wine

Tasting notes

In the most classic style of the great Gabutti wines, it is a structured and deep Barolo, characterized by a garnet color and complex aromas of currant, cherry, spices, humous, cocoa and licorice. The tannic texture is dense, well integrated with an important sip, which accompanies towards a very persistent finish.

Nebbiolo

Often referred to as the king of red grapes, Nebbiolo is responsible for some of the greatest wines in the world. The regions of Barbaresco and Barolo, in Piedmont, Italy, create the most revered expressions of the variety and have set the benchmarks for the world over. Nebbiolo is quite light in colour, dry and delicate but packs a punch in aroma and flavour with notes of rose, tar, cherry, red berries, blood orange, licorice, leather, terracotta and earthy herbals. These wines have high acidity and high tannins, making them extremely age worthy that deepen in complexity over decades. Simply stunning wines!
