The Domaine du Collier was created in 1999 by Antoine Foucault (the son of Charly Foucault from Clos Rougeard) and Caroline Boireau. Over the past 19 years Antoine and Caroline have quietly been making some of the most exciting wines in the Loire Valley. The wines have gained a cult following in France for their level of depth and sophistication and are very hard to find! This beautiful wine is made from old vine Chenin Blanc grown in the La Charpentrie vineyard on the hillsides of Brézé.

Tasting notes
Thrilling, complex scents of lime, flowers and pineapple give way to a brightly citric, concentrated palate, underpinned by chalky, mineral elements. This has power and tension than sets it apart from the Saumur Blanc and is simply a wine for the ages. This rare bottling is one of the great white wines of France.
