Tasting notes
Deep crimson. Elderberry, dark plum, liquorice aromas with dark chocolate, ginger notes. Richly concentrated, dark plum, blackberry pastille, elderberry, grippy/slinky/graphite tannins and beautifully integrated mocha, ginger oak. Chocolaty dry finish with a flow of dark berry pastille fruits.

This youthful Shiraz is an intense and complex wine with an impenetrable inky purple hue. The nose is dense and stem-driven, offering black fruits, crème de cassis, dried figs, dates, black tea, roasted fig leaf, bay leaf, and a unique mineral bath salt-like lift. On the palate, it’s creamy yet tense, with concentrated black and purple fruits, fennel, vanilla cola, Chinotto bitterness, and chewy, sinewy tannins that grip firmly. The wine is panoramic, showing width rather than length, with integrated acidity and a drying finish dominated by gravelly texture, raspberry gums, and herbal notes. Incredibly intense and too young to drink now, this Shiraz requires 5–10 years of cellar aging to reveal its full potential.
