Pale gold with a fine bead, crisp citrus, white stonefruit, berries, toast and a seam of minerality. Fruity, fresh, elegant and precisely balanced, this shows the grace of the Taittinger House style, while expressing the unique, individual character of the vintage year. Will age beautifully through to 2030.

Creamy light gold in the glass with a nose of yeast, toasted brioche, praline, nectarine, hints of sweet berries and rose. On the palate it’s long, chalky, tense and fine boned with a focused drive of sharp green apple, lemon curd, crisp white stonefruit and gently sweet pastry that’s textured with a beautifully fine bead. I wouldn’t call it complex, but it’s impeccably balanced, precise and charged with life and is utterly delicious. A pocket rocket Champagne that bangs for the buck!
