Expert review

Deep ruby and purple with a nose packed full of intense red berries, cherry, plum, raspberry licorice, blood orange, cinnamon, star anise and the beginnings of undergrowth. It’s graceful and sophisticated, much like a well dressed lady. In the mouth it bursts with freshness, energy and richness of complex fruit flavour that sit at its core. Naturally vibrant from the Macedon’s cool streak of acidity and textured with a fine grip of true fruit tannins, this is an impressive Aussie Pinot that highlights the potential of this under appreciated region. It drives with power and consistency over a long tail that ends with a touch of spice and orange zest. Complete and utterly delicious.
