Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Captivating aromas of white peaches interwoven with biscuity toasted oak and roasted almonds are followed by dried honey, struck match stick notes and spice. Rich and powerful yet fresh with mouthfilling flavours of white peaches, dried honey, citrus, biscuity oak, roasted almonds, flinty struck match stick infusions and spice exploding across the palate and sailing long onto the finish. A vibrant vein of acidity runs through the rich creamy like textural feel. Exceptionally long aftertaste of white peaches, roasted almonds, dried honey, biscuity oak and struck match stick characters.

One of the most planted, versatile and popular white varieties in the world. As a stand alone grape, Chardonnay is not the most interesting, nor complex varietal out there...but in the hands of a great winemaker it can be turned into one of the world's greatest pleasures! From the best bubbles of Champagne, to the lean, unoaked and mineral expressions of Chablis and the opulent, oaked and complex whites of Burgundy, Chardonnay is responsible for making some of the greatest expressions of white wine on the planet.
