About the wine

Tasting notes

Deep red and purple with a savoury, woodsy nose, some walnut and subtle spice. The palate is fleshy and smooth, not big or especially powerful but with lovely texture and balance. Seamless and impeccably balanced. Some slightly prominent acidity and the vaguest hint of mint.

The Grape

Shiraz or Syrah

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
