About the wine

Tasting notes

Deep crimson. Fragrant cedar, herb garden, black cherry and blackberry aromas with mocha, liquorice and grilled nut complexity. Rich, flavourful and sinewy with black cherry, blackberry and cedar flavours, fine-grained al dente textures, an underlying core of sweet fruit and balanced mocha oak complexity. A whack of chalky/gritty tannins at the finish with herb, cola and chinotto notes.

Shiraz or Syrah

Shiraz, or Syrah, is one of the most loved, rich and powerful red wine varieties made famous for its mineral and structured expressions from the Rhône in France and the rich and decadent fruity expressions from the Barossa Valley in Australia. Full bodied, rich in antioxidants and generously fruity, Shiraz sits proudly on the table for those that like their wine big and bold. Think violets, blackberries, plum, chocolate, pepper, black olive, liquorice, rosemary, tobacco and spice...i'm thirsty already!
